Where to stay in Sicily

Sicily has a good selection of organised campsites located along the coast and in rural areas. These campsites typically offer facilities such as electricity, water, restrooms and sometimes restaurants or small shops.
Wild camping is generally not permitted in Sicily, particularly in protected areas such as national parks, nature reserves and coastal zones. In practice, enforcement can vary, but visitors are advised to use designated campsites or obtain permission from landowners before setting up camp.
