To enter Moldova, a passport valid for at least six months is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Moldova of up to 90 days within a six-month period.
If you enter Moldova overland from Ukraine, you're advised to enter at an internationally recognised border crossing, because your entry needs to be registered. Generally, registrations happen automatically on entry. But, if you enter via Transnistria, you will not receive a stamp in your passport at some border crossings as they are uncontrolled by Moldovan authorities. In this case you have to get registered within 72 hours at one of the following offices:
Subdivisions of "CRIS"Registru” State Enterprise;
Subdivisions of the Department of Migration and Asylum or at
BCPs controlled by the constitutional authorities of Moldova.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for Moldova.
Airport transit visa: £23; transit visa: £40; short-term visa: £56; long-term visa: £72. There is no fee for children under 18.
Transit visa: up to five days per entry within a period of up to a year; short-term visa: 90 days within a six-month period; long-term visa: valid for up to a year, with entries of no more than 90 days in each six-month period.
