Restaurants in Stavanger
For a medium-sized city, Stavanger does well for restaurants, from deluxe seafood places overlooking the harbour to run-of-the-mill pizza places jammed into narrow side streets. Most of the good places are within easy walking distance of the main harbour.

Awarded a Michelin Star in 2016 (reputedly Norway’s first outside the capital), this small and intimate restaurant offers what chef Sven Erik Renaa describes as the best of the region’s produce presented as a fixed-price culinary ‘experience’.
