Where to stay in St Maarten

Hotels

St Maarten is well-stocked with accommodation, and the island's luxury hotels come fully equipped, from casinos and beauty parlours, to extensive watersports facilities. Even more modest beachside establishments typically have a swimming pool and restaurant.

A government tax of 5% is levied on all hotel bills and many hotels add a 10 to 15% service charge. Some even add a further 10% as an energy surcharge.

Bed and breakfast

Several guest houses cater for the less demanding; apartments and villas may be rented.
