A free shuttle bus operates from the terminal building to the public parking area.
From the centre of Erbil, take the Ainkawa Road north, which leads directly to the airport. The journey time from the city centre is approximately 20 minutes.
Public Transport
Taxi:A 24-hour taxi service is available at the airport, and cars should be reserved in advance (tel: +964 750 417 0000). The fixed fare to the city is ID12,000 (aprox. US$10). A security checkpoint operates at the airport entrance, where passengers are requested to get out of the car for a baggage check.
Terminal facilities
There is a bank in the terminal which offers bureau de change facilities. ATMs and credit card facilities are not currently available.
Duty-free is available in International Departures, offering a variety of goods including souvenirs, alcohol, perfumes and tobacco.
Trolleys are available, but there is no left-luggage facility. A catalogue of lost items is available to view on the airport’s official website. If you misplace an item in the terminal area, contact the information desk.
Airport facilities
There are currently no conference facilities at the airport, however there is a VIP lounge in Departures where passengers can complete work in a quiet and professional environment. Those in need of more extensive business services, including meeting rooms, should head to one of the larger city hotels, the nearest of which is the Noble Hotel (tel: +964 750 431 2244; www.noble-hotel.com).
Public parking is available immediately outside the airport grounds, and a free shuttle bus operates between the car park and the terminal.
The nearest hotel to the airport is about five minutes away by taxi. It is a luxury facility offering meeting rooms, spa and indoor pool, along with a choice of two restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is offered, and staff members are multilingual.

Also located close to the airport, the Seever Hotel is a 4-star offering with a range of rooms and suites available. The hotel also boasts rentable meeting rooms, a gymnasium and on-site restaurant. Wi-Fi access is included in the room rate.
