Restaurants in Gothenburg

Like much of Sweden, fresh organic fare is a top priority for Gothenburg’s restauranteurs although there are plenty of less high-minded eateries should you be so inclined. Don’t forget to sample the shellfish – the local langoustines are among the best in the world.

The Gothenburg restaurants below have been grouped into three pricing categories:
Expensive (over kr900)
Moderate (kr400 to kr900)
Cheap (up to kr400)
These Gothenburg restaurant prices are based on the cost of a three-course meal for one person, including a half bottle of house wine or equivalent (where available). Please note that many restaurants are closed on Sundays, so check before visiting.
