The main ports are Mahón and Ciutadella.

Balearia Eurolines Maritimes (www.balearia.net) operate car ferries and fast ferries from Mahón and Ciutadella to Barcelona and from Ciutadella to Alcúdia on Mallorca. Acciona Trasmediterránea (www.trasmediterranea.es) operate car ferries between Mahón and Palma de Mallorca.
