Palma de Mallorca Hotels
As one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe, Palma is home to an impressive array of hotels, ranging from cheap backpackers’ hostels to seafront apartments and slick, high-end resorts.
The Palma hotels below have been grouped into three pricing categories:
Luxury (over €200)
Moderate (€100 to €200)
Cheap (up to €100)
These hotel prices are the starting rates for a standard double room and include taxes and breakfast unless otherwise specified. Spanish VAT (IVA) of 7% is added to all hotel bills.
Known as one of the leading hotel brands in the world, St Regis Mardavall lives up to its reputation by providing the finest service, facilities and setting in Palma. Set 9km (6 miles) away from Palma’s city centre, the hotel enjoys an exclusive spot overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. As well as 24 hour butler service, the hotel has a Michelin-starred restaurant, Es Fum, and a spa.
The city's most exclusive luxury hotel is housed in an opulent 16th-century palace. Located at the heart of Palma’s historical quarter, Palau Ca Sa Galesais is just a few steps away from the cathedral. The palace has just 12 rooms, all of which are designed differently, and each named after a famous musician.
A product of contemporary style and chic architecture, this ultra-modern design hotel draws a trendy crowd to its funky interiors, hip bar and a small rooftop swimming pool. Originally an 18th-century town palace, Puro has been transformed into an oasis where new-age luxury meets Spanish history. The hotel’s Opio Bar and Restaurant is also a popular nightspot for a stylish crowd.
