Flying to Kosovo

Kosova Airlines (www.kosovaairlines.com) is the national airline. Air Prishtina (www.airprishtina.com) and Germania (www.flygermania.com) operate direct flights to Kosovo from the UK.

From London - 3 hours; New York - 12 hours 30 minutes (including stopover).

Prishtina International Airport

Airport Code: PRN. Location: Pristina International Airport is located 18km (11 miles) southwest of the city centre. Website: http://www.airportpristina.com/. Public transport description: An airport shuttle bus runs throughout the day with services every two hours from outside the main terminal to the Grand Hotel (Pristina city centre). The trip takes between 25-30 minutes. Taxis also await arrivals.

Travel by rail

The only international service is the daily train from Skopje, Macedonia.

Driving to Kosovo

Be prepared for delays at border crossings. Buses connect Kosovo with Albania, Macedonia. Montenegro.

Note: Leaving Kosovo, you can only enter Serbia if you came from there, since the Serbian authorities don't recognise Kosovar border stamps.
