Kyiv (Kiev) Hotels
Kiev’s choice of hotels is slowly expanding although luxury and upscale accommodation is still a little thin on the ground. Cheaper hotels tend to be harder to find than middle range options and are generally overpriced for what they offer; many lie far from the city centre. In recent years, a number of conveniently located hostels have sprung up in the city centre to provide budget accommodation.
The Kiev hotels below have been grouped into three pricing categories:
Luxury (over UAH 2,000)
Moderate (UAH 500 to UAH 2,000)
Cheap (up to UAH 500)
These Kiev hotel prices are for a double room per night, including tax and breakfast.
The Radisson Blu is housed in a Belle Époque mansion with everything you would expect from this chain – 255 spacious, modern and neatly appointed rooms with free Wi Fi, restaurants and a bar, meeting rooms and a beauty salon.
One of Kyiv’s (Kiev’s) 5-star hotels, the older part of this large hotel dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. With nearly 300 rooms in total – premier, standard, suites and three luxury apartments – the hotel dominates an entire block in the city centre. All rooms come with free Wi Fi, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a view of Kyiv’s (Kiev’s) most popular golden-domed cathedrals: St Volodymyr’s, Saint Sophia’s and St Michael’s Cathedrals.
Located near the opera house as its name implies, this luxury boutique hotel has an elegant interior and spacious rooms tastefully fitted with antique furniture. In addition to the standard rooms there are suites in a variety of styles – French, Egyptian, Japanese, Moroccan, Russian and American. Luxury features include a health and beauty centre and a fully equipped fitness club.
