Information desks are situated in both terminals. Additionally, there is a tourist information desk in arrivals.
Free shuttle buses operate between the main domestic and international terminals (which are housed in the same building) and the Puente Aéreo Terminal, along with other areas of the airport complex. Shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between 0500 to 2300.
From central Bogotá, Avenida Calle 26 / Avenida El Dorado runs directly to the airport, which is clearly signposted. The total drive time from central Bogotá to the airport is approximately 20 minutes.
Public Transport
Bus: Local buses (tel: +57 1 220 3000; www.sitp.gov.co) operate regularly between the airport and the city centre. Journey time is around 35-40 minutes, and they are identified by ‘Aeropuerto’ on the destination board. Fares are approximately US $7.
Taxi: Taxis are available outside both terminals 24 hours a day. The fare into Bogotá starts at around US$10-15, with trips taking around 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Taxi desks are located in arrivals, and the fare is confirmed on a printed voucher. For safety reasons, do not use any taxi service other than the official yellow and white taxis.
