Your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Cambodia. You will be refused entry if your passport is damaged or has missing pages. Also, make sure your passport is stamped on arrival and keep the departure form.
All visitors must also present a digital entry card, known as the Cambodia e-Arrival (CeA), upon entering the country. This form can be completed online for free on the official Cambodian government website www.arrival.gov.kh. After submission, an automatically generated QR code is sent via email, which should be saved on a smartphone or printed and presented upon entry. Alternatively, the form can be filled out upon arrival.
Visas are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Currently, Cambodia allows citizens of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam to enter for tourism purposes without a visa. The permitted length of stay varies depending on the nationality.
As entry requirements are subject to change, travellers are advised to verify the latest regulations before departure.
Travellers planning to visit both Thailand and Cambodia may consider the ACMECS single-entry visa, which permits nationals of 35 countries to enter each country once for tourism purposes. However, this visa may not be practical for travellers from countries whose nationals can already enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days.
The 35 eligible countries are: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
Single-entry tourist visa (Type T): three-month validity. The length of stay allowed in Cambodia is 30 days.
Apply online at www.evisa.gov.kh or at a consulate near you.
Travellers who intend to stay longer than 30 days must apply for an extension at the Immigration Department in Phnom Penh, which is opposite the Phnom Penh International Airport.
