British Virgin Islands Visa and Passport Requirements

Passports:

To enter the British Virgin Islands, your passport must be valid for the duration of stay.

Passport note:

All travellers must complete the online BVI ED card which is available 72 hours before their intended date of travel to the British Virgin Islands. After submission, a receipt will be sent to the email address provided. Travellers should save or print this receipt and present it to Immigration and Customs officials upon arrival in the British Virgin Islands.

Visas:

Nationals from many countries can enter the British Virgin Islands without a visa for tourism purposes. These include citizens of the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and all European Union member states.

Types and cost:

US $175 per visa.

Application to:

Complete the BVI visa application form and email it to bvivisas@gov.vg.

Working days:

Expect four weeks if all the documents are in order.

Entry with pets:

If planning on bringing your pet to the British Virgin Islands, you must apply for an import permit from the Department of Agriculture before you arrive.
