The two passenger terminals are located adjacent to one another and are within short walking distance.
From central Mombasa, the A109 Mombasa Road runs north and west out of the city, connecting to the westbound Airport Road after about 6km (3 miles). Airport Road leads directly to the terminals. The total drive time to the airport from Mombasa is approximately 20 minutes.
Public Transport
Taxi: Authorised 'Kenatco' taxis (tel: +254 70 964 2000; www.kenatco.co.ke) are readily available outside the Mombasa Moi International Airport terminals, and are the only transport option other than by private car or tour operator shuttle. For security, travellers are encouraged to use the officially licensed taxis available outside of both the domestic and international Arrival halls.
