Fiestas de la Virgen de Coromoto

Pilgrimages in honour of the patron saint of Venezuela. Thousands travel from all over Venezuela and beyond, to visit the shrine of the Virgin of Coromoto, in the western city of Guanara (Portuguesa state). Masses and processions take place across the country, with local entertainment and music varying from region to region.
