Weather in Vancouver

Best time to visit

Vancouver enjoys a maritime climate, with mild winters and warm summers. You’ll rarely see snow in the city, but if you visit in winter, there will be plenty of white stuff for skiing and snowboarding on the mountains to the north (bear in mind this will be falling as rain downtown). Spring and autumn can see some gorgeous days, but you will need your umbrella. Summer brings continuous spells of sunny, hot weather accompanied by long, light evenings. This is the best time to make the most of Vancouver’s outdoor lifestyle and the BC wilderness.
