Public Transport
Metro:The Metrorail (tel: +1 202 637 7000; www.wmata.com) light rail service (for destinations throughout Washington, DC) stops at Terminals B and C of the airport. From Terminal A, travellers need to take the airport shuttle to Terminal B or C in order to use this service. The journey time into the centre is around 10-15 minutes and the single fare varies, but is around US$2 (off-peak) or US$2.50 (peak) to city centre stations.
Shuttle:SuperShuttle (tel: +1 800 258 3826; www.supershuttle.com) door-to-door shuttle services are available. The bus transports passengers to their requested destination, while also stopping at Union Station. Shared ride fares to central Washington, DC destinations start at US$14.
Taxi:Taxis to Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland are available at the exits of each terminal. Fares to central Washington, DC, are approximately US$18-20.
Terminal facilities
A full-service bank is situated before security in Terminal B; several ATMs are also located in each terminal. Foreign currency exchange is available in Terminal C.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Charging stations for phones or laptops are located at various points within all terminals. Additionally, post boxes are situated on the second level, near the security checkpoints.
