AirTrain EWR: AirTrain EWR provides seamless connections to all passenger terminals (A, B, and C), parking lots, and the Newark Liberty International Airport Station, where one can take NJ Transit or Amtrak to Newark, New York City, Boston and other destinations. AirTrain EWR runs 24/7, every day.
AirTrain EWR notes:
• AirTrain EWR is free within the airport; however, a fare is required to enter or exit at Newark Liberty International Airport Station.
• AirTrain EWR operates outside the airport's secure zone, meaning passengers must exit the arrival terminal before proceeding to another terminal.
• Passengers arriving from international destinations must claim all checked bags at customs and recheck them with their transferring airline, even if the bags are checked to their final destination.
United Airlines shuttle: United Airlines runs shuttle services inside the airport's secure zone, meaning passengers do not need to go through TSA security if taking the shuttle. The services are:
• Between Terminals A and C (04:00-midnight).
• One-way service from Terminal A to Terminal B Gates B60 to B68 (13:00-midnight).
• One-way service from Terminal C to Terminal B Gates B60 to B68 (13:00-midnight).
• United Airlines may change the route at their discretion.
Newark Liberty International Airport is located off Interstates 78 and 95. Interstate 78 is a144-mile (232km) highway connecting Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Lower Manhattan in New York City, while Interstate 95 runs the length of the entire East Coast, connecting Miami, Florida to the border crossing between Maine and Canada.
Visitors travelling from Manhattan typically use Interstate 495 West before merging onto Interstate 95 South. The drive time, without traffic, should take about 30 minutes, but in reality, it often takes longer due to congestion.
Public Transport
Rail: AirTrain EWR links all passenger terminals with Newark Liberty International Airport Station. From there, passengers can switch to two NJ Transit train lines:
• Northeast Corridor trains provide services to New York, Trenton and intermediate points.
• North Jersey Coast Line trains provide services to New York, Long Branch and intermediate points.
• Tickets are required to enter or exit at Newark Liberty International Airport Station.

Bus: Coach USA and Trans-Bridge operate comfortable coaches to and from Newark Liberty International Airport.

Terminal facilities
ATMs are available throughout all three terminals.
Currency exchange counters are in Terminal B (Satellite building and near the AirTrain access).
Each terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport offers a wide range of food options, including bars, restaurants, and grab-and-go choices.
Newsagents, along with shops selling gifts, fashion, and travel essentials, are available in all three terminals.
Duty-free is available in:
• Terminal A – Central Plaza and in the South Pier near Gates 3 and 4.

The car rental center at Newark Liberty International Airport is on Levels 1 to 3, within the Parking A Garage on Parking A Access Road, NJ 07201. Passengers arriving at Terminal A should follow the rental car signs to Level 2 Mezzanine and walk 7 minutes across the pedestrian bridge to the car rental center. Passengers arriving in Terminals B and C can use AirTrain EWR to Terminal A, then walk 10 minutes via a covered walkway to the car rental center.
