Louisville International Airport is situated 8km (5 miles) south of Louisville in Kentucky.

Louisville International Airport is located at the junction of Interstate 65 and Interstate 264. From Louisville, take Interstate 65 southbound, exiting at junction 131B. This exit leads onto Terminal Drive and ultimately to the airport entrance. The total drive time from Louisville is approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport
Bus:The Transit Authority of River City (TARC) (tel: +1 502 585 1234; www.ridetarc.org) operates services (bus 2) between Louisville and Louisville International Airport (journey time: 40 minutes; fare: US$1.75). Passengers taking the bus should have the exact change with them.
Shuttle:Several hotels and motels in the area provide courtesy shuttle services.
Taxi:Taxis are provided by Ready Cab (tel: +1 502 417 4406) and Yellow Cab (tel: +1 502 636 5511). A number of limousine services are also available. Fares into the city start at around US$18, and the journey time is 10-15 minutes.
Terminal facilities
A bank and a bureau de change are located on the upper level of the terminal. ATMs can be found throughout the terminal building.
Paid-for Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Louisville International Airport, while internet-enabled PCs are available to passengers using The Bourbon Loft lounge (tel: +1 502 361 5665). Additionally, the airport has a number of public telephones, some of which are equipped with data ports. A post box is also located within the terminal building.
There are restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets and cafés at Louisville International Airport, located both landside and airside. These include a sports bar in concourse B and a café in the public area.
There are newsagents, gift shops, a convenience store, a bookshop and a golf shop in the main departures area of the terminal. Additional newsagents can be found in each main concourse.
There is a left-luggage service at Louisville International Airport. Lost property enquiries are handled by the airport police department (tel: +1 502 380 8264), with an office located on the ticketing concourse.

Louisville International Airport is well catered to passengers with physical disabilities, with specially designed ramps and lifts fitted with Braille control buttons. There are also TDD, TTY and lowered wheelchair-accessible telephones. For wheelchairs and assistance with boarding, passengers should contact their airline before travelling.
Two eight-passenger chauffeured electric carts and an escalator transport passengers to and from gates. Reduced-rate and reserved parking is available to disabled passengers in the covered car park, close to lifts. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
Louisville International Airport has space for passenger vehicles in both a covered and a remote car park. Level 1 (short-term) and levels 2 and 3 (long-term) of the multi-storey car park offer covered parking, while level 4 (long-term) and the remote car park are uncovered. Drivers may park in any car park, but the remote car park offers the best value for long-term parking – free shuttle buses run from this car park to the terminal building every 10 to 15 minutes. Valet parking is also available, and there is a 'cell phone' waiting area for drivers meeting arrivals.
Car hire companies represented at Louisville International Airport include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty. The car hire check-in desks are located on the lower level of the terminal, in Arrivals. Return areas for hire cars are located within walking distance, next to the west end of the main terminal building.
Within walking distance of Louisville International Airport, the Hampton Inn Louisville Airport offers a free shuttle bus service to/from the terminal building. Facilities include a business centre, meeting rooms and an outdoor pool.
