Colorado Springs Airport is located 10km (6 miles) southeast of central Colorado Springs.
One of the busiest airports in Colorado State, Colorado Springs Airport serves the region south of Denver, the state capital. Our guide to the airport includes important contact details as well as information regarding terminal facilities, public transportation and accommodation options.

From Colorado Springs, take Interstate 25 southbound and turn off at exit 135. From here, head east and follow signs to the airport.
Public Transport
Shuttle:Colorado Springs Shuttle (tel: +1 719 687 3456; www.coloradoshuttle.com) operates scheduled minibus services from the airport to Denver International Airport (journey time: 2 hours; fare: US$50), calling at several hotels in Colorado Springs on the way. Ramblin Express (tel: +1 719 590 8687; www.ramblinexpress.com) also operates local services.
Taxi:Spring Cab (tel: +1 719 444 8989; www.springscabllc.com) and Yellow Cab (tel: +1 719 777 7777; www.yccos.com) offer taxi services at the Colorado Springs Airport. Fares into central Colorado Springs start at around US$35.
Terminal facilities
There are two ATMs in the terminal: one in the baggage claim level, and the other in the departures concourse.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Colorado Springs Airport. There are also numerous data ports available for plugging in laptops and other personal computer devices. A post box is situated on the upper level of the terminal.
There is a food court on the upper level after the security checkpoint, just before gate 5. Additional bars and a restaurant can also be found at various points on the departures level.
Shops selling gifts, books, magazines, newspapers, snacks and souvenirs are available within the terminal. Duty-free is not currently available, as there are no international services.
A lost and found service is operated by Colorado Springs Police Department (tel: +1 719 550 1987). Baggage trolleys are available, as is assistance from the Skycap porter service.
Colorado Springs Airport has a 24-hour interfaith chapel in the east corridor of the main terminal building. Medical facilities are available. There are two family care rooms post-security within the main concourse. A shoeshine stand is also located after the security screening area, just past gates 3 and 4.
Airport facilities
Meeting and conference rooms can be hired at the nearby Holiday Inn Colorado Springs Airport (tel: +1 719 380 8516; www.holidayinn.com) and Radisson Hotel Colorado Springs Airport (tel: +1 719 597 7000; hotels.radisson.com), among other local hotels.
Colorado Springs Airport is well equipped to meet the needs of disabled passengers, with dedicated car parking spaces, lifts between levels, TDD phones, and accessible toilets, restaurants and shops. Most transportation providers are able to transfer those with disabilities. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
The short-term car park is opposite the terminal building. The larger long-term parking area is behind the short-term car park and the rental car area. Valet parking is also available. For further parking information, call Ampco System Parking (tel: +1 719 591 1293). A shuttle service (with disabled access) operates between the parking areas and the terminal.
Car hire companies at Colorado Springs Airport include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Desks for these companies are located in the baggage claim area, while the parking area is directly opposite the terminal, next to the short-term car park. U-Save car and truck rental is located off the airport site.
The closest hotel to Colorado Springs Airport, the Radisson offers a free 24-hour airport shuttle service and complimentary Wi-Fi access. This mid-range hotel, which has a choice of rooms and suites, features a gym, large indoor pool, meeting facilities and a business centre.
A free shuttle bus service links the Holiday Inn to Colorado Springs Airport, which is just five minutes away. Among the hotel’s facilities are a pool and fitness centre, business centre, cocktail lounge and on-site grill restaurant. Meeting rooms are available for up to 100 people.
Also close to the airport terminal, the Hilton Garden Inn offers a free shuttle service. It has meeting and events rooms, a 24-hour business centre, a grill restaurant, a heated indoor pool and a gymnasium.
One of a cluster of budget options near the airport, the 80-room Hampton Inn provides guests with a complimentary breakfast, indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has an on-site business centre and there are a number of restaurants in the local neighbourhood.
3km (2 miles) from the airport, the budget Super 8 Colorado Springs Airport hotel includes breakfast in the room rate, and offers a business centre. Restaurants are available in the near vicinity.
