Information

Driving directions

From the north and northeast, take the M6 southbound to junction 21A with the M62; follow the M62 west to junction six, and onto the A5300 and A561. From here, follow signs to the airport, which is situated off Speke Hall Avenue.

From the south or east, head north on the M6 to the junction with the M56 (junction 20); follow the M56 to junction 12 and turn onto the A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge, before merging with the A561.

Passengers travelling from North Wales should join the A55 to connect with the M56 eastbound, and then follow instructions to Liverpool John Lennon Airport as from the east.

Note: Passengers travelling from the Wirral may find it more convenient at peak times to use the M53 and then the M56 (as instructions from the south/east), rather than a route through the city centre of Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnels.
