Passports

To enter Tunisia, a passport valid for the duration of stay is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.

Visas

Tunisia allows many nationals to visit for tourism purposes without a visa for varying durations. These countries include:

Africa: Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Comoros, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Niger, Senegal, Seychelles, and South Africa.

Americas: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and United States.

Asia: Bahrain, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Jordan, South Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates.

Europe: All EU member states (except Cyprus), Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Vatican.

Oceania: Australia, Fiji, Kiribati, and New Zealand.

In addition, nationals of the following countries may enter Tunisia without a visa if travelling on an organised tour and holding a hotel voucher: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macao, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Entry with children

Children entering Tunisia are required to have their own passport.

Entry with pets

Dogs and cats must be vaccinated for rabies 30 days before travelling to Tunisia. A qualified veterinarian in your home country must complete the Tunisian Veterinary Certificate declaring that your animal is healthy and fit to travel. This then acts as a passport for your pet. Animals with the correct documentation are not required to be quarantined once they have arrived.
