Samui Airport Guide (USM)
Samui Airport (IATA: USM), also known as Koh Samui Airport, serves the island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. The airport is privately owned and operated by Bangkok Airways.
Although Samui Airport is relatively small, it has two terminals: domestic and international. Each terminal is further divided into sections – the domestic terminal has four sections, while the international terminal has two. This Samui Airport guide provides information on terminal facilities and transportation options to and from the airport.
Information counters are located near the check-in and arrivals area (past luggage claim).
Samui Airport's domestic and international terminals are within a 50-meter (0.03 mile) walking distance of each other. The open-sided design and clear signage make it easy for passengers to navigate between the terminals.
Samui Airport is accessible from Route 4169, the ring road that encircles the island. This means that regardless of where you're starting from, as long as you get to Route 4169, there will be signs directing you to Samui Airport.
Public Transport
Taxi: SmackONE (Samui Accom Co Ltd) is the official airport taxi provider. All their taxis operate on fixed prices based on the destination, ensuring transparency and avoiding the need for negotiation. Others: No public buses are available at Samui Airport. While e-hailing/ride-sharing services are available on the island of Samui, they are not permitted to operate at the airport.
