Krabi International Airport Guide (KBV)

There are two terminals at Krabi International Airport connected by a walkway. Terminal 1 serves international flights, while Terminal 2 is for domestic flights. Each terminal has an information desk to answer questions regarding flights or other services. Terminal 1’s information desk can be found on the lower floor. Terminal 2’s information desk is located on the left side of the exit gates at arrivals.
The two terminals are located within the same building and are connected by a small walkway.
From Krabi town, take Phetkasem Road (Route 4) and follow the airport sign. The journey time is around 20 minutes.
Public Transport
Bus: An official airport bus connects the airport with Krabi town centre and Ao Nang.
Prices vary from 100 Baht to 150 Baht per person. Tickets can be bought from a transport booth inside the terminal. Bus leaves every 8 to 10 minutes depending on the number of passengers.
Local buses known as Songthaews operate from the main road (Phet Kasem) to Krabi town centre. The fare is about 50 Baht per person.
Taxi: Taxi booths are located in the arrivals hall. All airport taxis are prepaid and run at a flat rate of 600 Baht.
Terminal facilities
Currency exchange facilities can be found in Terminal 1 at arrivals. ATMs are available in both terminals.
Wi-Fi internet access is available at coffee shops and restaurants at the airport. There are several lounges operated by airlines which offer Wi-Fi internet access.
Cafes are available in both terminals before and after security. There is also a restaurant on the top floor serving tasty Thai dishes and hamburgers.
There are a handful of souvenir shops located at both terminals. Duty-free shopping is available in the luggage collection area.
There is a left-luggage facility available in the international terminal. Luggage is charged per item.
A large car park is found directly outside Terminal 1 while Terminal 2 has a smaller parking area.
Car hire companies represented at Krabi International Airport include Hertz, Budget, National Car Rental, Thai Rent A Car and SIXT.
