Restaurants in Stuttgart
Stuttgart is well-endowed with good dining opportunities and finding a suitable place to eat should be no problem. As a big city with immigrants from around the world, Stuttgart offers a range of cuisines but the local speciality is hearty Swabian food which goes well with wine produced in the region. It is worth making a reservation at the best restaurants but most places are open to walk-in custom. Tipping of up to 10% is common when the meal has been good and the service attentive.

The Restaurant-Cafe Markthalle is one of three eateries in the historic setting of the market hall, which was designed by Martin Elsaesser and built between 1912 and 1914.
