Malaga Airport Guide (AGP)
Also known as Málaga-Costa Del Sol Airport due to its prominence as a key gateway to the popular Costa Del Sol region, Málaga Airport is a short distance from Málaga city. Our Malaga Airport guide includes contact details and information on airport facilities, transport options and nearby hotels.
Work is currently ongoing on improvements to Terminals 1 and 2, including refurbishment of shopping areas and check-in facilities.
Airport information points (tel: +34 902 404 704) can be found in Arrivals at Terminals 2 and 3, and in Departures in Terminal 2. The multilingual staff wear mint green jackets for easy identification and are known, somewhat unimaginatively, as ‘Green Jackets’. Individual airlines also have information desks in Arrivals and Departures.
From central Málaga, take Avenida Manuel Agustin Heredia eastbound in the direction of the airport, turning right onto Avenida Ingeniero José Maria Garnica. From here, take a left onto Calle Héroe de Sostoa. This road, that merges into the MA-21, leads directly past the airport entrance.
