Vladivostok Airport Guide (VVO)
Vladivostok International Airport is situated 50km (31 miles) northeast of Vladivostok, in southeastern Siberia.
Vladivostok International Airport is the main airport serving the Primorsky Krai region of southeastern Russia, along with the major metropolis of Vladivostok. From central Vladivostok, take the main northbound coastal road (M60) and turn off for the airport where signposted. The total journey takes around 40 minutes.
Public Transport
Rail: The Primorye Express train service (tel: +7 8 423 224 5431) operates frequent trains throughout the day linking Vladivostok’s main train station with the airport’s Terminal A (journey time: 50 minutes).
Bus: Bus 107 connects Vladivostok International Airport to the city centre throughout the day (journey time: 90 minutes).
Shuttle bus 7 links to nearby Artem, where long-distance bus services are available.
Taxi: The airport runs a taxi company, Primavtolayn (tel: +7 8 423 244 4444 or +7 908 992 2555), with cabs waiting for passengers directly outside the terminal. The journey time is around 45 minutes.
Terminal facilities
A bank and a bureau de change are located in the terminal. ATMs are also available throughout.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Vladivostok International Airport. Public telephones and internet stations are also situated at various points within the terminals and a post office is located in the main public area.
There are two cafés, a coffee shop and a restaurant in Terminal A. There is also a restaurant at the hotel near Terminal B.
The international area features a varied shopping area, including duty-free outlets; while the domestic area has a small souvenir shop. A sportswear shop and electronics retailer can be found in the public area.
Luggage trolleys are available at the airport and baggage storage facilities are located on the first level of the international terminal. Lost or found items should be registered with airport staff, as well as with the official manager in charge of tracing baggage (tel: +7 8 423 200 0362).
Airport facilities
There are business lounges equipped with computers and internet access. The lounge in the terminal also houses meeting/conference space that can be hired in advance (tel: +7 423 230 6834). Additional business and meeting facilities are available in the nearby Venice Hotel (tel: +7 423 230 7601; venice.far-east.ru).
The Villa Arte hotel, with its beautiful European renaissance architecture, is one of the hospitality jewels of the city. Located just outside Vladivostok town centre, the drive from the airport takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Facilities at the hotel include an on-site restaurant, a sauna and meeting rooms for guests travelling on business.
