Flying to Palau
United (www.united.com) flies from Honolulu to Guam, where there is a connection to Airai International Airport (ROR) in Palau. For visitors arriving from Europe, United also offers connections in Manila. Korean Air (www.koreanair.com) and Asiana Airlines (www.flyasiana.com) offer a direct route from Seoul, China Airlines (www.china-airlines.com) from Taipei City and Delta (www.delta.com) from Tokyo.
Flights from both London and New York to Palau tend to travel via Tokyo or Guam, and take approximately 24 hours, allowing for varying stopover times.
There is a departure tax and green fee of US$50 per person which must be paid directly at the airport upon leaving.

Getting to Palau by boat
Visitors who sail privately to Palau can moor at Malakal Harbour and at M-Dock on Koror and will find Naval Oceanographic charts to be most useful. US Naval Chart HO 5500 covers the entire region of Micronesia.
International cruise lines seldom call at Palau ports although Silversea Cruises (www.silversea.com) and National Geographic Expeditions (www.nationalgeographicexpeditions.com) have a handful of luxury cruises that make stops in Palau in each year.
