Weather in Málaga
Málaga’s mild winter temperatures make it a pleasure to visit all year round. Even while the rest of Europe is shivering, you have a good chance of being able to stroll through town in a T-shirt. It’s hot in summer but not oppressively so – the seaside location saves it from becoming the furnace that inland cities like Seville can be. August is Málaga’s main fiesta time, which means things can get pretty crowded, so book ahead. Off-season months like February or November can be pleasant times to explore the city, with low accommodation prices and fewer tourists.
