Excursions from Honolulu

Dole Plantation

Many first-time Oahu visitors choose to take a circle-island bus tour, which, depending on the company, includes stops at such locations as Halona Blowhole, Hanauma Bay, Nuuanu Pali Lookout, the North Shore beaches, and—to the delight of adults and children alike—Dole Plantation.

Pearl Harbor

A popular excursion from Honolulu is to Pearl Harbor, one of America's most important naval bases.

On December 7, 1941, Japanese warplanes bombed battleships moored in the harbour, catapulting the United States into WWII. A Pearl Harbor excursion often includes a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri Memorial, and the USS Bowfin submarine.
