Gibraltar Food and Drink

There are bars and bistros throughout the town and at the two marinas, operating under Mediterranean licensing hours and selling British beer. Restaurants cover the whole price range, and offer British dishes as well as French, Spanish, American, Moroccan, Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine. Typically Gibraltan food is a combination of British, Maltese, Italian and Spanish influences though it is rare to find it in restaurants and cafés. Instead there is a cosmopolitan choice of cooking and a thriving café society, particularly in Casemates Square.
