The airport is located 25km (15 miles) north of Münster, and 35km (21 miles) south of Osnabrück.

Autobahn A1 (E37), that links the cities of Münster and Osnabrück, passes close by the airport. To reach the airport, turn off the A1 at exit 75 and follow Airportallee directly to the terminals. The airport is also easily accessible via Autobahn A30 to Amsterdam.
Public Transport
Bus: Regular buses operate from outside the terminal into Münster (tel: 01803 504 030; www.rvm-online.de). The S50 express bus is the quickest option, taking about 45 minutes and costing €6.60 one-way. The X150 service to Osnabrück central station (tel: 0541 2002 2211; www.stadtwerke-osnabrueck.de) takes 40 minutes and costs €9.80 for a single ticket. Both routes operate regularly throughout the day, with less frequent late night services.

Terminal facilities
Public telephones can be found within the terminal. An internet café is available to passengers on the first floor of Terminal 2.
There are two restaurants, a café and a bar in the public area of the terminal building. Airside there is a bar, and vending machines are provided.
There is a shop selling the usual range of duty free items in Departures, as well as a newsagent selling magazines, books and souvenirs adjacent to the security gates landside.
Airport facilities
The airport offers five conference rooms that are available to hire (tel: 02571 941 515) on the upper floor of Terminal 1. Fully-equipped office spaces are also available for rent, and there is a business lounge located in Departures.
The airport is fully accessible, with lifts, specially adapted telephones and disabled toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance, and there are special meeting points within the terminals for anyone in need of help. Passengers are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel should they require any additional assistance.

International car rental companies, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are all represented at the airport, with desks in Terminal 2.
The closest accommodation option to the airport; the 3-star LandKomfort Hotel is situated in parklands, and incorporates spa facilities, a restaurant and, uniquely, an onsite farm. It is aimed primarily at families, but its close proximity to the airport makes it a convenient option for all travellers.
A little further away from the airport, the 85-room Stegemann Hotel offers an indoor pool, sauna, solarium and restaurant. It is situated in a quiet location to the north of the airport on Route 475.
