Toulouse-Blagnac Airport Guide (TLS)
Operating short-haul international routes and flights to domestic destinations, Toulouse-Blagnac serves the city of Toulouse in southwest France. Our guide to the airport includes information on terminal facilities, nearby hotels and local transport.
From Toulouse city centre, follow the signposts for Bordeaux, Auch and Blagnac via Allée de Barcelone. At the junction, join the A620 northbound and turn off at junction 31, branching left onto the A621 towards Blagnac. The A621 directly passes the airport and has a designated junction – look out for signs.
Public Transport
Tram: The new T2 tram line (tel: +33 5 6141 7070; www.tisseo.fr) offers services every 15 minutes from around 0600-midnight. The single fare is €8, and journey time in to the city is 20-30 minutes.
Bus: Tisseo (tel: +33 5 6141 7070; www.tisseo.fr) buses serving the city centre and other nearby destinations leave from door C. The Airport Shuttle goes direct from the airport to Toulouse Matablau railway station and several other city centre stops every 20 minutes – journey time is roughly 15 minutes, and the single fare is €8. Bus 30 operates to the Fenouillet Shopping Centre, while bus 25 terminates at Emile Zola Blagnac.
Taxi: Taxis (tel: +33 5 6130 0254) can be found at the taxi rank outside arrivals door C. The fare to central Toulouse is typically €25 (€28 at night).
Terminal facilities
There is a bank in the arrivals hall (Hall B) that is open every day except Sundays. There are also a handful of ATMs and two bureaux de change throughout the terminal building.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (in unlimited 30 minute sessions), along with numerous public telephones. Additionally, a post office is located in Hall C, in the arrivals area.
There is a range of snack/sandwich bars, cafés, bakeries and restaurants at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. Among these is a restaurant in Hall B with panoramic views of the airfield.
There is a good selection of shops at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, ranging from the usual alcohol and tobacco duty-free outlets (for passengers leaving the EU) to more specialised perfumeries and shops offering regional goods and souvenirs. Airport lost and found items are kept at the information counter on the arrivals level of Hall C (tel: +33 825 380 000). Otherwise, contact the relevant airline.
Airport facilities
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport has a meeting room and a business centre (tel: +33 825 380 000) in Hall D with fax, internet and photocopying facilities. French and English newspapers, fax, photocopying and internet connection are also available in the Croix du Sud lounge in Hall C. Additionally, there are hotels near the airport that can provide conference and business facilities, including the Novotel Toulouse Aéroport (tel: +33 5 6115 0000; www.novotel.com).
Reserved car parking spaces for disabled passengers can be found in the on-site car parks. The shuttle service between the car park and the terminals is wheelchair accessible.
Assistance – including help with boarding and/or disembarking the aircraft with wheelchairs – should be requested from the relevant airline prior to arrival at the airport. The Airport Shuttle bus service to central Toulouse is also wheelchair-accessible.
There are six 24-hour car parking options at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, with space for close to 9,000 cars. Short-term parking is available at P0, short- and mid-term rates are offered at P1 and P2, while long-term options can be found at P5 and P6. The Res@P3 area is for internet reservations only. A free shuttle bus service connects these car parks to the terminal building. The first 15 minutes of parking is free in all car parks.
Car hire companies at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport include: Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. Car rental desks are situated in Halls B and C.
This 123-room hotel is close to the city's Zénith concert hall. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access, while its Novotel Café has a poolside terrace. As with the other hotels in the area, there is a free shuttle service to and from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.
Two minutes from the airport terminal via the No. 66 bus, the mid-range Campanile has three small meeting rooms to complement its restaurant and 57 guest rooms. Wi-Fi is included in the room rate.
A good option for those visiting the area for business or pleasure, this mid-range hotel is just a minute or so from the terminal via a free 24-hour shuttle bus service. Facilities include a fully equipped fitness centre and spa, free Wi-Fi access, and meeting and conference space.
