The second largest airport in Cyprus, Paphos International Airport provides access to the western part of the country. Our Paphos International Airport guide includes information on terminal facilities, contact details, transportation options and nearby hotels.
There is a tourist information desk in the terminal building – multilingual assistance is available.
From Paphos, take the B6 to the southeast and turn onto the E603 after about 12km (7.5 miles). From here, Paphos International Airport is clearly signposted.
Public Transport
Bus: Bus 612 (tel: 8000 5588; www.pafosbuses.com) operates regular services from early morning until late evening on weekdays between Harbour Station in central Paphos and the bus station opposite the terminal (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: €1.50). Services start later and finish earlier from December to March.
Bus connections to various destinations in the region and other parts of Cyprus are available from the main bus terminal in Paphos.
Taxi: Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the terminal building. The fare into Paphos starts at around €35.
Terminal facilities
A Bank of Cyprus branch, a foreign exchange booth and various ATMs can be found within the terminal.
Public telephones, post boxes and free Wi-Fi hotspots are located at various points in the terminal building.
Among the food and drink options is a café serving a range of light meals and a terrace bar that offers views of planes landing and taking off.
There is a small selection of shops at Paphos International Airport. Among these is a duty-free shop, various news stands and a gift retailer.

Airport facilities
There are no conference or business facilities at Paphos International Airport. These services are, however, available at larger hotels in the city.
There are 150 short-term parking spaces at Paphos International Airport. The short-term parking area is opposite the terminal, just behind the coach pick-up area and in front of the long-term car park. In addition, there is an area offering long-term parking with 24-hour security and a free shuttle to the airport (journey time: 5 minutes).
Car hire companies at Paphos International Airport include: Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and a number of local operators. Car rental desks are located in Arrivals, while the pick-up/drop-off area is behind the short-term car park.
Hotels
There are no hotels at Paphos International Airport, but assistance in locating and booking hotels can be obtained at the airport's tourist information desk. Most hotels are located in and around Paphos itself, while self-catering apartments are available at Mandria, around 10 minutes' drive away - although these are not suitable for one-night stays.
A luxury hotel between central Paphos and Paphos International Airport, the recently renovated Alexander the Great Hotel offers swimming pools, entertainment nights and on-site dining as well as sweeping sea views.
