Zadar Airport Guide (ZAD)
The airport is located 8km (5 miles) east of Zadar city centre.
Zadar Airport serves the city of Zadar and the popular tourist areas on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. Our Zadar Airport guide provides details on transportation to and from the airport, a list of terminal facilities, and recommended accommodation options nearby.
From central Zadar, take route 8 southwards and turn left onto route 424. Continue along route 424 until you see signs for the airport access road (route 502), which leads directly to the terminal entrance.
Public Transport
Bus: Buses connect the airport to the Old Town Bus Terminal, the Gaženica ferry port (bus station near CRODUX petrol station) and the main bus station in central Zadar. Tickets are 25 kn. For the bus schedule, visit www.zadar-airport.hr/en/public-transport.
Taxi: Taxis are 24 hours a day outside International Arrivals. Prices into the city centre start at around 150 kn (20 Euro), and journey time is upwards of 15 minutes depending on traffic.
