Saskatoon in summer is filled with the sounds of jazz - with a bit of hip hop, blues, world, and gospel music thrown in for good measure. Famous and not-so-famous artists perform in small clubs, theatres and outdoor venues whatever the weather. Saskatchewan Jazz Festival is considered to be the province's premier cultural event. Each year the festival showcases the very best in local, national, and international jazz music.
