Antwerp International Airport Guide (ANR)
Antwerp International Airport is a small commercial airport serving Belgium’s second city and the surrounding Flanders region. Our guide to the airport includes important contact information, details on terminal facilities and a list of recommended nearby hotels.
There is an information point (tel: +32 3 285 6500) in the terminal – English and French are spoken in addition to Flemish/Dutch.
From central Antwerp head southeast on Van Eycklei (N184) until you arrive at the junction with Binnensingel (R10). Turn right onto the R10 for 1km (0.6 miles) and then turn left onto Borsbeekbrug, which leads to the airport.
Public Transport
The airport is approximately 10 minutes by bus 51, 52 or 53 from Antwerpen-Berchem railway station, which connects to Antwerp Central Station (tel: +32 2 528 2828; www.belgianrail.be). From here services run to destinations throughout Belgium and beyond.
Bus:Bus lines 51, 52 and 53 (tel: +32 70 220 200; www.delijn.be/nl) operate from immediately outside the airport to Berchem Station, from where buses and trains operate into the city centre (journey time: 25 minutes; fare: €3).
Taxi:A cab from the airport into the city centre will take around 15-20 minutes and cost upwards of €20 (tel: +32 3 230 5555; www.taxi-antwerpen-service.com). Taxis are available outside the terminal to coincide with flight arrivals.
