A car drive to Dhahran (Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia) takes approximately 1 hour from Bahrain using the King Fahd Causeway. A toll fee is payable by drivers leaving Bahrain. Normal Saudi Arabian visa regulations apply.

Main ports: Khalifa Bin Salman Port is now being used as the main port. Sitra Wharf another port is frequently used. Mina Manama is now being used as a military service port.
