Where to stay in South Australia
South Australia has many hotels and motels including 5-star international hotels. Standards vary, but ensuite, TV, drink-making facilities and, sometimes, a small fridge is the norm. In addition, there are numerous holiday flats and apartments for rent. Further information is available from the South Australian Tourism Commission.
Bed and breakfast, farmstay and cottage accommodation is available throughout the state, particularly in rural areas. This type of accommodation is usually very reasonably priced and spacious.
South Australia has many caravan parks. They usually offer sites with full amenities and power. A number of companies can arrange campervan hire, with a range of fully equipped vehicles. Bush camping with limited facilities is available in the national parks and is especially good at Innes, Lincoln, Coffin Bay and the Coorong national parks.
