Where to stay in Australian Capital Territory

Hotels:

There is a wide range of accommodation in Canberra and the outer suburbs ranging from historic 1920s buildings and small boutique hotels to stylish hotel complexes. Most hotels and motels in Canberra are located along Northbourne Avenue or in northern suburbs including Ainslie, O'Connor and Downer.

Bed and breakfast:

There are a few bed and breakfasts here. Many are situated near charming wineries or in the leafy suburbs of Canberra.

Camping:

There are caravan parks along highways leading out of Canberra and in the suburbs. A number of companies can arrange campervan hire, with a range of fully equipped vehicles. You can obtain full details from the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre.

Other accommodation:

A wide range of apartments are available, many of which are serviced. They are found in the city centre or the inner-city suburb of Kingston, close to shops and tourist sites.
