Ankara Hotels
Much of the accommodation in Ankara is aimed at the business market, so there are few atmospheric choices except in the citadel district (Ankara Kalesi). Downtown Ulus is best for budget hotels, Kızılay for moderate, and Kavaklıdere and around the nearby embassy districts for luxury options.
The hotels below have been grouped into three pricing categories:
Luxury (over 240 TL)
Moderate (120 to 240 TL)
Cheap (up to 120 TL)
The prices quoted above are the starting prices for a standard double room and include taxes and breakfast unless otherwise specified.
This five-star hotel is a favourite with both business and leisure travellers looking for full amenities and superior service. The hotel boasts a pool, spa, hammam and gym, and there is excellent shopping right on the doorstep at the Atrium Mall. Rooms are generously-sized and suitably plush for the price.
One of Ankara’s most atmospheric hotels, this luxury property is set inside the restored Çukurhan caravanserai building which dates back to the 16th century. Rooms boldly fuse Turkish and Asian decoration with contemporary, colourful design, while the central courtyard holds onto its historic features but has a glass roof.
This prominent landmark hotel soars high above the central city and offers unrivalled views of Ankara's bustling Kavaklıdere district. Rooms are classically styled in earthy tones and come with full modern amenities, while the hotel has bars and restaurants, a pool and fitness centre.
