One of the most popular and spectacular folkloric events available, the Mejorana festival has been around since 1949 and promotes Panamanian folklore and tradition. It’s an explosion of parades, ox carts, bullfights and music, all topped off with fireworks. Definitely worth a trip to the small town of Guararé for this.
