From moody landscapes to brooding city scenes, we were inundated with entries for our annual travel photography competition. But unfortunately there could only be three winners – and here they are.

This year’s winner gets an early Christmas present of £100, second place scoops £50, and third can look forward to receiving a selection of travel books, courtesy of our friends at Stanfords, the world’s biggest and best travel map and book retailer.
