Splendour in the Grass

Held annually since 2001 just outside of Byron Bay, Splendour in the Grass is one of the most popular music festivals in Australia. It began in 2001 as a one-day gathering because not many events are held in the Australian winter season; by 2014, the capacity of the festival was upwards of 30,000. Big names in the pop-rock music industry including the likes of Coldplay, Outkast, and Mumford and Sons have graced Splendour in the Grass’s stage in recent years.
